Double wedding awards shortlist for Osborne House

Osborne House has been shortlisted in the ‘Best Coastal Wedding Venue’ category at both the UK Wedding Awards 2019 and the British Wedding Awards 2019.

Created by leading wedding brands ‘You and Your Wedding’ and ‘Hitched’, the UK Wedding Awards identify the bridal suppliers that help make the wedding process seamless and enjoyable for both guests and planners.

The British Wedding Awards is now in its eleventh year and aims to celebrate excellence in the wedding industry.

The stunning Isle of Wight venue, previously the summer home of Queen Victoria, was named as one of 11 venues in the running to potentially secure the prestigious award, with winners announced in March 2019.

Osborne House, part of English Heritage, features a range of stunning spaces steeped in history, including the extravagant Durbar Room celebrating Queen Victoria’s role as Empress of India, and the spectacular Victorian Hall featuring arched windows and double doors leading out into the gardens, perfect for luxurious weddings. With its beautifully-landscaped gardens and private path down to Osborne beach, the venue also offers the ultimate destination for summer events.
